coffee & water

The perfect cup is simply a combination of two ingredients: coffee and water. Coffee beans, freshly roasted within the last two to three weeks for optimum flavor. Clean fresh water just off the boil.

grind & time

Whole coffee beans must be ground in order to extract the coffee. The choice of grind is determined by the length of time the grounds will be in contact with the water. Over extracted coffee will taste bitter, whilst under extracted coffee sour and tea-like, making the balance so important to the outcome.
